This is another netted Wine Bottle cover made with Red #2 bugle beads, and #11,#8#6,#3 seed beads and using vertical net weave stitch. This one has a simpler collar than the first one I made. These silver-lined beads really sparkle in sunlight and/or candlelight.
Love your work. I have be searching all over for a pattern for the beaded wine bottle cover. I would like to make some for gifts for xmas.
Your work is awesome.
Hi Charlene,
Here is a link to free instructions I used when making my first wine bottle cover
http://www.beadpatterns-paulaadams.com/products/Free%20Instructions/freeinstructions.php
I vary the way I make the wine bottle covers now – last ones I have been using 6/0, 11/0, and bugles (either #1 or #2) for the verticle net and adding a drop at the bottom of each panel with 11/0s, 6/0s, and a 3/0 or large drop crystal. I now also make the netting first (as many as needed to fit over top of bottle – usually 20-22 is sufficient for average domestic wine bottle) and then join the last panel to the first from the bottom to top (adding only the beads between the joining beads). then I stitch all the 11/0’s at the top of each panel together using 6/0’s and 11/0’s instead of using a peyote stitch foundation.
Hope that helps you out.
