Sleeping Baby Quilling Design

Here is my latest completed Quilling Project – The Sleeping Baby.

Sometimes when working on a project, I find the finishing details take the longest amount of time and with this project it was the closed eyelid. I went through 23 different versions of that eyelid before I was satisified with it. Special thanks to all my Quilling friends for their comments & suggestions through all those eyelid variations.

Quilled Gift Cards

If you are like me, you have a container of quilled flowers made for old projects, but for one reason or other you didn’t use them. I hate throwing out something that is perfectly good except maybe it was the wrong size or the wrong color for what I intended it for, so I store it away to be used another time. I’ll use a few here and there when looking for something to add a finish to a current project, but to use up a lot of this stash of flowers, I’ll make up a batch of simple gift cards. And because you only have to quill a couple of leaves or a stem to add to each card, they can be completed quite fast. Here is a sample of some I recently made.

Quilled Heart & Roses Cards

I had a lot of Folded Roses in my Quilling Box left over from other projects so I decided to make some cards with them.
